The premier choice for local, regional and national conventions, conferences, meetings, banquets and gatherings since 1992, the facility has a beautifully blank canvas that is easily adapted into the event masterpiece of your design with the guidance of our professional event services team.

The facility was renamed the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center in 2007 when then-County Executive Nicholas J. Pirro retired.

Upstate Medical Arena
at The Oncenter War Memorial

Originally known as the Onondaga County War Memorial, the arena opened in 1951 as a living tribute to area veterans. The iconic facility has hosted countless events over the years and has been the home to the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) Hockey Team since 1994.

The facility was renamed Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial in 2019 upon signing of a naming rights agreement with SUNY Upstate Medical University.

John H. Mulroy Civic Center Theaters

The Syracuse community has celebrated the arts together in the Civic Center Theater since its opening in 1976. The facility is home to three unique theatrical spaces with the ability to accommodate productions of all sizes.


The building was named the John H. Mulroy Civic Center in honor of County Executive John H. Mulroy who retired in 1987. It houses the three theaters as well as Onondaga County Offices.
