TICKETING AND SEATING:

All of our venues have seating that is accessible to people who use wheelchairs, as well as other challenges. Patrons may purchase one non-wheelchair companion seat adjacent to an accessible seat, if available. On the applicable seating charts (links provided below), wheelchair accessible seating areas will be noted with the universal wheelchair-accessible symbol. The price of wheelchair accessible seats will not exceed the price of the tickets in adjacent sections/areas or the lowest price offered for that event. Ticket prices, for all seats, vary by event. Please see below for further information.

This area is located across from The Oncenter Convention Center and can be used for people attending events at all three Oncenter buildings. There is also accessible street parking located on Madison Street, between The Oncenter War Memorial Arena and The Oncenter Crouse Hinds/Carrier Theater. A valid, appropriate disability hangtag or license plate is required to park in a space identified as reserved for persons with disabilities; the person who the registration of the accessible parking hangtag or license plate belongs to must be in the vehicle and identification is required. SENSORY KITS

Loud noises and bright lights can make it difficult or confusing for an individual with developmental disabilities to enjoy an event. The Oncenter is proud to partner with Friendly @ccess to provide kits that are designed to support individuals of all ages, with a variety of sensory needs, and their families at events such as sports games, concerts, and theater.

Each kit includes an assortment of useful tools to help individuals enjoy an event with greater comfort. These kits also include identification in the event that an individual is separated from their family at the event. Venue staff are trained on the program and can assist individuals and families throughout the venue as needed. To request a kit while attending an event, please speak with your nearest usher.

SERVICE ANIMALS

In New York State, Service Animals are defined as a dog trained to do work or perform a task(s) for a person with a disability. These service animals are permitted into The Oncenter. Each service animal must remain with its owner at all times and be must be housebroken, on a leash, harness, tether or otherwise under the owner/handler’s control.
