The Inaugural Circuit Symposium

Due to COVID-related staffing issues, The Circuit Symposium has been postponed and will be moved to a TBD date. Our team and panel apologize for any inconvenience and are working to find a new date ASAP for the Symposium in Syracuse.

The Circuit's Symposium Series is set to kick off next weekend, with the inaugural event taking place on campus at Syracuse University.

The event - scheduled for Sunday September 19th at the Crouse Hinds Theater - features current and former local stars in a roundtable setting.

The goal of the symposium is simple - provide fans, parents, coaches, and young athletes alike a behind-the-scenes look at how current and former athletes navigate their careers and the challenges they face in various aspects of life.

  • Buddy Boeheim (Current Syracuse senior)
  • Jimmy Boeheim (Current Syracuse grad senior)
  • Eric Devendorf (Syracuse alumni and owner/founder of ED23 Hoops)
  • Jim Hart (Nike EYBL City Rocks Director // Head Coach)
  • Ryan Blackwell (Syracuse alumni // current Liverpool HC)
  • Other surprise guests.

The symposium will include roundtable discussions surrounding the following topics:

  • The Impact of Mental Health
  • Name Image Likeness (NIL)
  • Time Management of a Student Athlete
  • The Road to Become a Student Athlete
  • The Impact of Social Media

All performances/events hosted at The Oncenter will strictly adhere to the most current local and State COVID-19 guidelines as of the date of the event. This may necessitate seating setup and venue capacity modifications and could result in rescheduling of events.

Proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test is NOT currently required for this event. This is subject to change with updated CDC, NYS, or Onondaga County related guidelines

In accordance with current Onondaga County regulations, all employees, vendors, and event attendees must wear a mask while inside our venues. Temperature checks will be administered prior to entry.
