Dr. Glaude is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor and Chair of the Department of African American Studies at Princeton. His works examine the difficulties of race in America, combining history, philosophy, religion, and a passion for social justice. His most recent book, Begin Again: James Baldwin’s America and Its Urgent Lessons for Our Own, acknowledges Baldwin’s inspiration, instruction, and guidance on matters of race.

We ask that you enter the building through the set of doors closest to the courthouse on Montgomery Street. All persons entering will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test administered within 72 hours of the event. Masks are required. If you are attending with another person or group, please communicate the above requirements to all attending. This is subject to change with updated CDC, NYS, or Onondaga County related guidelines
