Pianist Natasha Paremski toasts the New Year with two amazing works by George Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue and his Second Rhapsody. You’ll remember Quinn Mason’s gorgeous music from the 2020-21 season, and you’ll love his Toast of the Town Overture. Aaron Jay Kernis’s poignant Elegy honors all who have suffered during the COVID crisis.

Run Time:

Approximately 2 hours, including a 20-minute intermission.
Symphoria is delighted to welcome Natasha Paremski back to Syracuse to perform two iconic Gershwin favorites. In case you missed her previous Syracuse performances, please get to know her playing through this performance of Third movement of Prokofiev’s Sonata No. 7.

Proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test is required for this event.

Symphoria Policies:
  • UPDATED: Audience capacity will no longer be limited, but every effort will be made to accommodate patrons who wish to be socially distanced from other patrons while seated. If you wish to have space between you and other patrons, please call the box office to make arrangements when you order your tickets.
  • Every patron must be masked.
  • Each patron must provide one of the following:
    o Proof that he/she has been fully vaccinated for at least 2 weeks or
    o Proof of a negative COVID test result administered within 72 hours of the concert.
  • UPDATED: Children under 12 are strongly encouraged to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, but these are not required when they are accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult, or an adult with a negative COVID test.

This is subject to change with updated CDC, NYS, or Onondaga County related guidelines

In accordance with current Onondaga County regulations, all employees, vendors, and event attendees must wear a mask while inside our venues.
